Bandai Namco Drops 3 DLC Trailers for 3 DRAGON BALL Games
Dragon Ball fans were given quite the treat over the weekend as Bandai Namco made three announcements during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour livestream event. Each trailer showcased new content coming to three different Dragon Ball games: Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. First, it was revealed that on March 9, a patch would go live for Dragon Ball FighterZ to balance the characters a bit more. Then, on March 12, Gogeta (SS4) will be available to play if you purchase the DLC. If you purchased FighterZ Pass 3, you’ll get access to the new character on March 10.
Then, for fans of DBZ: Kakarot, fans will be able to enjoy the third DLC, -Trunks- The Warrior of Hope early this summer. You’ll get to play through a new story featuring Trunks from the future. It looks like we’ll play through the storyline of Future Trunks before he goes back in time to save Goku from the deadly heart disease. More updates are coming soon. I do find it funny how the game is named after Goku and yet we’re going to have a whole story DLC that shows what the world is like without him. Almost feels like It’s a Wonderful Life in a way.
Finally, if you play Xenoverse 2, you’ll be able to enjoy Legendary Pack #1 on March 18. This pack brings a brand new story as well as Pikkon and Toppo (God of Destruction).
Fu has played with the time-line again, causing more trouble and creating more challenges for the Z warriors!
