Baroness Has Been Cast in The G.I. Joe SNAKE EYES Movie
Baroness will be in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming G.I. Joe film Snake Eyes and they’ve cast Money Heist breakout star Úrsula Corberó in the role. As you can see, she’s definitely got the look!
The actress joins the previously cast Henry Golding, who is playing Snake Eyes; Andre Koji who is set to play Storm Shadow, “a ninja who is both Snake Eyes’ blood brother and archenemy”; and Iko Uwais, who is playing Hard Master, “Snake Eyes’ tough as nails teacher who is also a skilled sword master.”
The film is being directed by Robert Schwentke (Red) from a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos, and the movie will focus on the origins of the fan-favorite character known for his masked face, black commando uniform and ninja training.
The story centers on Snake Eyes’ origins where “he tries to become a member of the Arashikage Clan, a ninja clan based in Japan. The Arashikage “worked as shadowy assassins for generations, using deception to earn their keep as ninjas, as well as developing a reputation for being able to perform impossible tasks.”
Snake Eyes will be released on October 16, 2020.
