BARRY Actor Anthony Carrigan Will Play The Villain in BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC
Anthony Carrigan, the actor who plays Noho Hank on HBO’s Barry, is the latest actor to join Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in Bill & Ted Face the Music. There’s no word on who exactly he’ll be playing, but we do know that we will play Bill and Ted’s “relentless adversary.”
Carrigan is an entertaining actor and I love what he’s done in Barry and Gotham. It’ll be interesting and fun to see how this new character he’s playing in the movie turns out, and what kind of villain he’ll be.
He will also join the previously cast William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, and Kid Cudi. Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) is directing the film from a script written by original franchise screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
Here’s the synopsis that was released for the movie:
Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
Orion Pictures will release Bill & Ted Face the Music on August 21st, 2020.
