Bat in the Sun Launches Kickstarter for LEGEND OF THE WHITE DRAGON Fan Film

For a while, several former Power Rangers actors have been teasing a new project with Bat in the Sun and we finally have the details. The actors have teamed with the production company with the hopes of creating a new Power Rangers fan film called Legend of the White Dragon. It is a dark and gritty fan film also described as “Netflixy” by Johnny Yong Bosch. It’s weird and awesome at the same time to see these ex-Power Rangers together as they’re each from a different series (with the exception of Jason David Frank and Bosch having worked together) and the trailer certainly teases quite a bit to come.

In the Aftermath, the city was left decimated. A past reminder of the great battle and fall of heroes. As a result of the death and destruction the city became known as Angel Graves. The heroes were blamed, stripped of their titles and hunted. But as evil once again threatens to return they must rise from the ashes with the power of the White Dragon.

The suit for the White Ranger in this film looks like it actually would’ve fit pretty well with the 2017 film, but I’m really interested to learn more about the project. If you’re excited for it, you can head over to Kickstarter to help fund the project. They are currently looking to make $500,000 with 100% of all funds being used for the film to make it as great as possible. As of writing, they’ve raised roughly 2% of that goal.

Legend of the White Dragon will star Bosch, Frank, Chrysti Ane, Jason Faunt, Jenna Frank, Ciara Hannah, and Yoshi Sudarso. Aaron and Sean Schoenke will be directing it with Alvin Hsing serving as fight choreographer.
