BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Sequel Series Reportedly in The Works at HBO Max
According to entertainment movie and TV scooper Daniel Richtman, HBO Max is looking at possibly making a Batman: The Animated Series sequel series. This is just a rumor, but Richtman has been spot on with most of his scoops in the past, so there’s a chance that this could be true.
The original Batman: The Animated Series is currently available on HBO Max to watch whenever you want, which is great! I love this series, it’s one of the best animated shows ever made, and a lot of fans might be interested in seeing it return. If the series does return, it has to have the same high standard of storytelling as the original series.
Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy previously explained, "They didn't stop making the shows because the audience wasn't there or the actors weren't there, they stopped, really, because the creators ran out of ideas for stories."
So, hopefully, they do have more great stories to tell. I would hate for a sequel series to get made just for the sake of making one and compromise the show’s integrity. But, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens, if the sequel series actually moves forward.
What do you make of this rumor? Would you like to see a Batman: The Animated Series sequel series on HBO Max?
