Beadle & Grimm's Platinum Edition of SPELLJAMMER for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS is Fantastic

Dungeons & Dragons released Spelljammer: Adventures in Space earlier this year. This was an official way for fans to take their epic adventures into space and many love it. Well, if you want to take your Spelljammer games to the next level, you’ll want to go check out what Beadle & Grimm’s recently released. They have launched two Spelljammer: Adventures in Space bundles that give you everything you need to run your game and more.

The first option is the Silver Edition which will set you back $195. Inside, you’ll find a collector’s box, exploded books, a gorgeous DM screen, pre-generated characters designed for Spelljammer campaigns, encounter and ship cards, bonus encounters, in-world handouts, original battle maps, a poster-sized map of the Rock of Bral, 20 all-new magic item and spell cards, a package of ship deck maps, and a Ring of Shooting Stars artifact. That’s a lot! The exploded book is actually extremely nice and includes a player-only version of the Astral Adventurer’s Guide which is exclusive to these bundles. If you’re not familiar with exploded books, basically they’re soft-covered booklets of the different sections of the book. There’s one for the DM, one with information for players, one that is Boo’s Astral Menagerie, and one for Light of Xaryxis. It’s very handy to have the book exploded like this.

The second option is the Platinum Edition which costs $499. Beadle & Grimm’s were extremely generous in sending one of these bad boys out to me and you can watch me do an unboxing of it below. Inside you’ll find everything from the Silver Edition, plus a lot more. Extras include a map tube with the battle maps plus a double-sized arena map and 3 ship battle maps, an in-world Realmspace Map, a Wildspace Orrery, a Giff Military Award, a Dead Hands Dice Set, and 20 specially curated WizKids pre-painted miniatures in a collector’s box. The minis are absolutely gorgeous and I love them! Is the Platinum Edition expensive? Yes. However, if you can afford it and really want to take your games to the next level, it is absolutely amazing. I have yet to run a Spelljammer campaign, but now I’m thinking I need to so I can bring the gorgeous minis out.
