Beautiful and Moving Trailer for Coming of Age Film WILDFLOWER
A new trailer has been released for the film Wildflower, which tells a coming of age story about a teen with neurodivergent parents. The film is directed by Matt Smukler in his feature debut, and he co-wrote the script with Jana Savage.
The cast includes Kiernan Shipka, Dash Mihok, Charlie Plummer, Alexandra Daddario, Brad Garrett, Reid Scott, Erika Alexander, Jacki Weaver and Jean Smart, and introducing Samantha Hyde.
The short synopsis reads:
Wildflower is a hilarious big-hearted celebration of family in all its variety. A coming-of-age film about growing up too fast and slowing down just enough to recognize one's good fortune.
This looks like a fantastic film. It has a similar storyline to the Oscar-winning film CODA, but has its own unique perspective. I can’t wait to watch this movie. It looks like it’s going to be a poignant and beautiful film. Check out the trailer below, and watch Wildflower in theaters on March 17th, and On Digital and On Demand on March 21st.
