Beautiful New Trailer for Whitney Houston Biopic I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY
A second trailer has been released for the biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody, following the life and career of the incredible singer Whitney Houston. She was so beautiful and a once in a lifetime voice. I still rock out to so many of her songs, and many of them go down as some of the most beautiful of all time. I feel like this movie encompasses all of the feelings fans have about her music, while highlighting her personal struggles, some that were known to the public, and some that were kept private during her lifetime.
Naomi Ackie stars as Houston in the film, and she is joined by Stanley Tucci, Ashton Sanders, Tamara Tunie, Nafessa Williams, and Clarke Peters.
The film is directed by Kasi Lemmons (Eve's Bayou, Black Nativity, Harriet), from a script by Anthony McCarten, who is known for writing the popular biopics The Theory of Everything, Darkest Hour, Bohemian Rhapsody, and The Two Popes.
This looks so good. I want to tear up every time I watch it and hear her voice and remember what an absolute powerhouse of a singer and woman she was. I Wanna Dance With Somebody hits theaters everywhere on December 23, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
