Beautiful Trailer for Tte Anime Film LOOK BACK Created by CHAINSAW MAN’s Tatsuki Fujimoto
I’ve got a wonderful trailer here for you to watch for an upcoming anime film titled Look Back. The film is based on the acclaimed manga one-shot from Chainsaw Man’s Tatsuki Fujimoto.
This story is the complete opposite of Chainsaw Man, though! This film tells the sweet story of the characters Kyomoto and Fujuno, two rivals who become friends and are united by their love and passion for drawing manga.
In the film, “The overly confident Fujino and the shut-in Kyomoto couldn’t be more different, but a love of drawing manga brings these two small-town girls together. A poignant story of growing up and moving forward.”
As you’ll see in the trailer, Fujino finds herself in Kyomoto’s shadow before they team up and experience life beyond the walls of their rooms. As you’ll see, the art an animation is beautiful. You don’t even need English subtitles to understand what the story is about. You can feel it.
Look Back is directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who formed part of the animation team on Studio Ghibli titles such as The Boy and the Heron, The Wind Rises, and Arrietty.
The movie will be released in Japan on June 28th, but there’s no word yet on when it will be coming to the US.
