Beautiful Trailer for the Biographical Documentary BOGART: LIFE COMES IN FLASHES
A beautiful trailer has been released for the biographical documentary feature, Bogart: Life Comes in Flashes.
It follows the life and career of legendary Hollywood actor Humphrey Bogart. Narrated in his own words from recordings, this is the most intimate look at his life yet. The film is made Kathryn Ferguson (Nothing Compares) and produced by Eleanor Emptage.
The synopsis reads: “Bogart: Life Comes in Flashes is the first official documentary to explore the remarkable life & career of Hollywood legend Humphrey Bogart.
“For the first time ever, narrated in Bogart’s own words and using previously unseen archives, letters, and interviews from those closest to him, the film definitively explores the impact of one of the most influential cinematic and cultural icons of all time.
“Set against the glitz and glamour of Jazz Age Broadway to the Golden Age of Hollywood, and framed around the five key women in his life – his mother and four wives, including his final marriage to screen icon Lauren Bacall – the film intricately weaves together his most important relationships against the backdrop of world events which defined his career trajectory.”
Son of the actor, Stephen Bogart, said of the documentary: "Kathryn [Ferguson] and Universal Pictures Content Group have made an amazing film that has the full endorsement of the Bogart Estate.
“Even 125 years after his birth on Christmas Day in 1899, my father remains an American icon whose quotes and achievements permeate our culture.

This looks incredibly well done, and it’s so fascinating and sweet to hear his voice tell his own story from the past. Bogart: Life Comes in Flashes will be released in select US theaters starting on November 15th, 2024. Check out the trailer below:
