Beautifully Captivating Teaser Trailer for HBO's Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Drama STATION ELEVEN

HBO has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama Station Eleven, from writer and creator Patrick Somerville, who previously made the incredible limited series Maniac for Netflix. The story is based on the novel by Emily St. John Mandel, and the series is directed by Hiro Murai, who has previously worked on both Atlanta and Barry.

The incredible cast includes Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049, Halt and Catch Fire), Himesh Patel (Yesterday, Tenet), Daniel Zovatto (Here and Now, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels), David Wilmot (The Alienist, Barkskins), Matilda Lawler (Flora & Ulysses), Lori Petty (Point Break, A League of Their Own), Nabhaan Rizwan (1917, Mogul Mowgli), Joe Pingue (The Boondock Saints, The Book of Eli), Danielle Deadwyler (Watchmen, The Haves and the Have Nots) Philippine Velge (Summer of 85), and Gael Garcìa Bernal (Coco, Mozart in the Jungle, Old).

Here’s the synopsis:

A post-apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, this limited drama series tells the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and re-imagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what's been lost.

This series looks so amazing. It is beautifully done, and it invokes so much emotion. I can’t wait to watch it. Check out the trailer below, and watch Station Eleven on HBO and HBO Max on December 16th, 2021.
