Beautifully Crafted Functional Medieval Fantasy Cosplay Armor For Women

This is the "Sovereign Armor" and it was beautifully designed and crafted by Melissa Ng, who is just starting to get into the world of cosplay. Her goal was to "create a practical and versatile Medieval-inspired fantasy armor for a woman." As you can see, it looks awesome, but not only that this thing is built for comfort and functionality.

It took Ng over 500 hours to build this suit of armor which consists mostly of 3D-print pieces. It only weighs eight pounds and it also includes LEDs that give the suit a wicked cool glowing effect. When talking about her creation, Ng says:

“I also know I’ve only recently started familiarizing myself with the cosplay community. But after studying up a bit on armor, it got me wondering how awesome it could be to see more cosplayers transform some of their favorite female character’s (impractical) armor designs into something more functional.”

This is really stunning work and you can watch the process the Ng went through in putting it together in the video below.
