Just four short days ago, the announcement that Ian McKellen is playing Cogsworth in Beauty and The Beast broke. Now, the acclaimed actor gives us a lengthy report on the film's first table read.

With Beauty and The Beast bringing over the musical elements of the animated film, I'm sure many fans will be full of happy tears as well. Honestly the film would have been weird without those songs.
Josh Gad (Le Fou) gives us our first look at most of the cast, which includes from left to right, Gad himself, Dan Stevens (Beast/Prince), Emma Watson (Belle), Luke Evans (Gaston), and Kevin Kline (Maurice). The photo came with the caption: "Can’t wait for you to be our guest."
A lot of people were opposed to Disney adapting their animated classics into live-action films. But after Maleficent and Cinderella, many have started to change their tune. This could be a winning formula for Disney over the next few years. I wonder what they will do when the've run out of animated films to adapt.
Beauty and The Beast journeys into theaters March 17th, 2017.
