Become a Mummified Bloodhunter in DUNGEONS & DRAGONS with BLOOD OF THE SANDS

The Bloodhunter is a popular unofficial class for Dungeons & Dragons. Well, Griffin Fredette has created an interesting new subclass called the Order of the Embalmed in Blood of the Sands.

In this subclass, characters are killed, embalmed, and then brought back to life. They basically become powerful undead creatures that gain abilities to help cleanse the world. It’s a pretty interesting concept to me and the abilities are pretty cool.

One of the abilities deals damage in a cone based on the number of hit points they’re willing to sacrifice, and then the character recovers HP based on how many creatures die from this ability.

There are some blood hunters who will remove all morals, all inhibitions, and all mortality to complete their goal of eradicating undeath: that is to become one of the undead themselves.

The Order of the Embalmed uses the practices and techniques of the God of the Afterlife Osiris in order to lengthen their lives and further their fight against the darkness.
