BEEF Season 2 Gets Netflix Release Date and a Killer New Cast

A new season of Beef is officially on the menu, and we finally know when it’s arriving. Netflix has locked in an April 16 release date for the second season of the Emmy-winning anthology, confirming its return as part of the streamer’s larger 2026 slate reveal.

Season 2 shifts gears from road rage chaos to something a little more refined and just as dangerous. The story centers on a young couple, played by Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny, who work at an exclusive country club and witness a disturbing altercation between their boss and his wife, portrayed by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan.

That moment pulls them into a messy power struggle defined by “chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”

Rounding out the cast are Yuh-Jung Youn, fresh off her Oscar win for Minari, and Song Kang-ho, the star of Parasite. It’s a lineup that signals a very different flavor from Season 1 while keeping the same sharp edge that made the series such a hit.

The new season will run eight episodes, each clocking in at around 30 minutes. Creator Lee Sung Jin is back as showrunner and executive producer, keeping the creative voice intact.

Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, who anchored the first season, remain involved as executive producers alongside Jake Schreier, Kitao Sakurai, Ethan Kuperberg, Anna Moench, and cast members Mulligan, Isaac, Melton, and Spaeny. The series is once again produced by A24.

Beef returns more than three years after its debut season, which followed two strangers whose lives spiral out of control after a single road rage incident.

With a new setting, a loaded cast, and the same creative team steering the ship, Beef Season 2 looks ready to serve up another uncomfortable, addictive, and wildly entertaining chapter when it hits Netflix on April 16.
