Behind the Scenes Featurette Teaser From Netflix Sequel THE OLD GUARD 2 Starring Charlize Theron
Netflix has released a super quick behind the scenes featurette teaser trailer from the upcoming sequel The Old Guard 2. Returning from the first film are stars Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, Vân Veronica Ngô, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and newcomers to the cast include Uma Thurman and Henry Golding.
The Old Guard 2 is directed by Victoria Mahoney (Yelling to the Sky, The Morning Show, Grey's Anatomy), from a screenplay written by returning script writer Greg Rucka. The story is adapted from the graphic novel The Old Guard from Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernández.
The logline for the sequel states: “Andy (Charlize Theron) leads immortal warriors against a powerful enemy threatening their group. They grapple with the resurfacing of a long-lost immortal, complicating their mission to safeguard humanity.”
