Behind-The-Scenes Look at How The Incredible Costumes For THE LORD OF THE RINGS Were Created
A behind-the-scenes video was recently shared by Warner Bros. that offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the incredibly beautiful costumes in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring were created.
The video features costume designer Ngila Dickson talking about the insane amount of work that went into creating the costumes for the film. They had 40 seamstresses working at Stonestreet Studios, making a massive 19,000 costumes for hobbits, elves, dwarves, and much more. They put a lot of thought into these costumes, and the detail is incredible.
