Behind the Scenes Set Video/Photos From DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Tease Wilson Fisk's Origin Story
Some behind-the-scenes photos and a video have surfaced from the upcoming Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again that seem to point to an origin story for the villainous Wilson Fisk, played by returning actor Vincent D’Onofrio. The set photos provide viewers their first look at a potential flashback sequence involving a young Wilson Fisk dealing with some neighborhood bullies. The Marvel villain’s tumultuous childhood was also addressed in the original Netflix series, which highlighted Fisk’s relationship with his parents.
The new series will be an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Both characters made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin guest-starring in the Disney+ series Hawkeye and Matt Murdock briefly appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox also recently guest-starred in two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
