Behold the Power of this Fully-Operational Guitar Orchestra

What’s cooler than cool? Star Wars songs being played on the guitar. John Williams does some kind of wizardry when he composes music for his movies. There are people out there that make videos to pay tribute to his work. One of the latest tributes comes from Cooper Carter who didn’t just do a metal cover of a Star Wars song, he broke down the orchestral arrangement and used “70 guitar tracks. 28 orchestra parts. 11 guitars. 13 shirts.” This created the beautiful metal orchestra that you can witness below performing “The Imperial March.” As an added bonus to the music nerds, Carter is kind enough to note which part each guitar is performing. What’s your favorite version of this iconic song?

70 guitar tracks. 28 orchestra parts. 11 guitars. 13 shirts. Episode II of my massive tribute to John Williams, Darth Vader, and the greatest saga of all time!
