Bella Thorne and Jake Manley Star in Trailer for INFAMOUS, a Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde Story
We’ve got the first trailer for you to check out from the upcoming film Infamous. The movie stars Bella Thorne (Blended, Assassination Nation) and Jake Manley (Midway, A Dog’s Journey) as a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde who travel the country committing crimes and posting all their exploits to the internet. They gain followers and notoriety along the way and become fueled by their fame as a result.
The film also stars Amber Riley (Glee), Marisa Coughlan (Super Troopers), and Billy Blair (Alita: Battle Angel), and is written and directed by Joshua Caldwell (South Beach, Negative).
Here’s the synopsis:
Arielle is a down on her luck dreamer who longs for popularity. Dean is an ex-con working for his abusive father. The two have an instant connection, and after the accidental death of Dean's father, are forced on the run. In order to sustain their trip, the two are relegated to robbing gas stations and small shops. In an attempt to gain social media clout, Arielle livestreams their robberies. The two become a modern day viral Bonnie & Clyde steam-rolling towards a tragic ending.
