Bella Thorne Is Starring in a New Thriller Titled HABIT
Bella Thorne is keeping herself busy! The past year she has been cast in five film projects. Now we’ve got another one to add to the list. It’s interesting and unexpected to see her become a rising star.
The movie is being helmed by first-time feature director Janell Shirtcliff, and it’s based on a story that she and screenwriter Libby Mintz came up with. That story follows “a street smart party girl with a Jesus fetish who gets mixed up in a violent drug deal and finds a possible way out — by masquerading as a Nun.” This certainly sounds like the kind of project that Thorne will have some fun with.
Thorne is currently shooting the indie thriller, which is titled Habit, and is being produced by Donovan Leitch, 852 Films, Martingale Pictures, Voltage Pictures, Cloudlight, and Elevated Films, the production company behind the Oscar-nominated Netflix film Mudbound.
