Bella Thorne Set to Star in Home Invasion Thriller MASQUERADE

Actress Bella Thorne (Blended, Assassination Nation) has been hired on to star in a new home invasion thriller called Masquerade that is being written and directed by Shane Dax Taylor (The Grey, Isolation). Deadline provides the following synopsis and rundown of co-stars:

The project follows 11-year-old Casey (Alyvia Alyn Lind of Daybreak and The Young and the Restless) who must survive the night after a group of intruders, led by Rose (Thorne), break into her family’s home to steal priceless artwork. The thieves will stop at nothing to get what they want, with shocking developments. Austin Nichols (The Walking Dead) and Mircea Monroe (Episodes, Book Club, Fifty Shades of Black) will star as Casey’s parents, with Skyler Samuels (The Gifted) as Rose’s cohort.

This sounds like a possible Home Alone situation. If it is, I’m totally down. The film is set to shoot in Kentucky. Does Masquerade sound like a film you’d be into?
