Bella Thorne Wants To Play Lady Deadpool in DEADPOOL 3
Last week it was announced that Free Guy and The Adam Project director Shawn Levy is going to be directing Ryan Reynolds in Marvel’s Deadpool 3. It’s pretty exciting to see that this movie is finally taking a big step forward.
As of right now, we have no idea what the plot of the film will entail or how exactly Deadpool will be introduced into the MCU, but that does not stop fans from speculating how that will all go down. I’m curious to see if Levy and Reynolds actually managed to get Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine. I’m also interested in seeing what other characters will be introduced in the film.
I always thought it would be fun to see Lady Deadpool make her big MCU debut as she’s such a fun character! We don’t know when or if that will happen, but if it does, one actress has thrown her name into the hat of possibilities to take on the role… Bella Thorne. The actress recently spoke to Comic Book Movie, and when asked if she was interested in playing Lady Deadpool, she said:
"Yes, superheroes are definitely fun. I love action stuff, naturally, and I do a lot of action stuff with stunts and whatnot. It's just always really fun on set and it breaks up the work day when you get to concentrate on the body and feel and how to perform not just using your voice. That's always fun for me. Deadpool is my favorite. It's so raunchy and, hello, who doesn't love Ryan Reynolds? He just f**king nails that role to the floor.
"What I love about Deadpool is that realism mixed with the you know, superhero world. It's something where we feel we can talk to this superhero now in today's day while still having them be a superhero. I love that shit. Like, The Boys? Love that TV show."
When Thorne was told that Deadpool 3 is in the works, she responded: "Guys! I'm here, Where are you at?"
While Thorne might be an okay choice, I’ve always thought if they cast someone for Lady Deadpool, Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively would be a great choice! She would kill it in that role! I’d much rather see her as Lady Deadpool than Thorne. What do you think? Who would you like to see take on the role?
