Beloved JRPG TALES OF SYMPHONIA REMASTERED Gets Release Date, Trailer, and Q&A

Back in September, Bandai Namco announced that Tales of Symphonia was getting a remaster for current hardware. Now, the team has shared a Q&A, a new trailer, and a release date for the highly anticipated remaster. Fans can expect to play Tales of Symphonia Remastered on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One starting February 17, 2023.

The Q&A covers a wide variety of areas including what the game is, what enhancements fans can expect, and more. Some of the highlights include the visuals have been improved to be sharper and crisper, the English voice cast is in the game, the game will be locked at 30FPS since it’s based on the Steam version of Tales of Symphonia although it is said to be better optimized than the original release for a more stable experience, and they’re not currently announcing remasters or remakes of other Tales games.

In TALES OF SYMPHONIA REMASTERED, players will follow the adventures of Lloyd Irving and his friends as they embark on a worldwide adventure filled with unforgettable characters and an emotionally charged storyline. The title is set in the world of Sylvarant, a dying land in dire need of a constant source of mana, where legend dictates that a Chosen One will appear to regenerate and restore the world.
