BEN 10 Being Rebooted by Cartoon Network

Ben 10 is making a comeback! THR is reporting that Cartoon Network is currently developing a reboot of the animated series.

The original series was actually a pretty decent show, and over the years it has spawned four series spinoffs and three TV movies.

The new show will re-introduce 10-year-old Ben Tennyson and feature new and fan-favorite aliens from the initial series. The show kicks off with the adventures of Ben, his cousin Gwen, and Grandpa Max as they travel the country during summer vacation. When Ben finds the mysterious Omnitrix, a world of alien superpowers opens up to him.

Cartoon Network chief content officer Rob Sorcher says:

"We decided it was time to introduce Ben to a new generation of kids. Ben 10 has been an overwhelming success story across all media platforms, and we know kids around the world will be eager to see the reinvention of this beloved character.”

The creators of the original series will be back to develop the reboot. Those individuals include Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, and Steven T. Seagle. The series will premiere on Cartoon Network in fall 2016. I’m sure it will be a big hit with the kids.
