Ben Affleck Returning For THE ACCOUNTANT Sequel!

It looks like 2016's The Accountant will be getting a sequel. Ben Affleck, director Gavin O'Connor and writer Bill Dubuque are all in talks to return. Deadline Hollywood reports that not much is known yet about the direction that the story will go, but they say it is likely that Jon Bernthal will be included once again. Bernthal played a villain who also happened to be Affleck's long lost brother.

The clever action thriller starred Affleck as a math genius with high functioning autism who works as an accountant for criminal organizations under the close watch of law enforcement. He also has a set of assassin skills that would even impress Liam Neeson's character from Taken.

I really liked the character dynamic in this movie, quirky yet intimidating, nothing we've ever really seen before in an action flick. I would really be curious to see the next chapter. What do you think?
