Ben Affleck's Reprisal of Batman in THE FLASH Won't Lead to Permanent Return or Spinoff

After it was reported that Ben Affleck was going to come back to play Batman in The Flash, a lot of fans started speculating on whether or not if this means he’ll be back for good and that we’ll see more of him in future films. There is also a rumor going around that there’s a spinoff series in development for Affleck’s Batman for HBO Max.

According to The Wrap, The Flash is going to be it for Affleck’s Batman, they confirm that, "there will be no other films with Affleck’s Batman or an HBO MAX show as has been rumored online amongst fanboy outlets."

So, for those of you who were hoping for Affleck’s Batman to return for more DC movies, chances are it’s not going to happen. But, never say never! I never thought I’d see Batman come back to the role in the first place, yet here we are!

As far as Robert Pattinson’s The Batman goes, it’s said that the actor "is still viewed as the future of the franchise." I wonder… will we see Pattinson’s Batman show up in The Flash as well? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. The way that Warner Bros. is handling the DC properties is all over the place.
