Ben Stiller and Ali Larter are Producing a Cheerleading Comedy at Fox Titled THE SIDELINES

Ben Stiller is set to executive producers a new cheerleader comedy currently in development at Fox titled The Sidelines. Ali Larter, who is best known for her roles in Resident Evil and Heroes will star in the series and executive produce as well. The series is being written by Kate Gersten who has previously worked on The Good Place and Mozart in the Jungle.

The Sidelines follows “a newly separated mother of two (Larter) who, at age 40, decides to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a professional cheerleader. Against all odds, she makes the squad for a local Detroit football team and becomes the accidental den mother to this group of scrappy, resilient young women – and rediscovers herself in the process.”

This seems like it could be a fun, especially for people who are into cheerleading.
