Benedict Cumberbatch and Reese Witherspoon Make Out in 9 KISSES Video Series

The New York Times managed to get 18 talented actors from some of this year's best films together, and then got them to make out. This was done for a video series called "9 Kisses," and in a way it's supposed to celebrate the great performances of these actors and actresses. 

Each video features two stars as they play out an intimate moment in a public setting at night. Of course, the details of the settings vary. There's a good mix of kisses that range from passionate to awkward to funny.

The couples used in the videos include Benedict Cumberbatch and Reese Witherspoon; Steve Carell and Laura Dern; Rosario Dawson and Jenny Slate; Chadwick Boseman and Kristen Stewart; Patricia Arquette and Jason Schwartzman; David Oyelowo and Timothy Spall; John Lithgow and Julianne Moore; Jack O’Connell and Shailene Woodley; Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Miles Teller.
