Benedict Cumberbatch has joined yet another television project and is re-entering the world of political thrillers with a drama centered around Brexit. Cumberbatch will portray Campaign Director of Vote Leave Dominic Cummings in a one-off drama from Channel 4 that will detail the highly controversial and high-stakes campaign to win the hearts of British people.

Deadline reports the project will be directed by Black Mirror director Toby Haynes and that filming is scheduled to begin later this year. No release date for the project has been announced at this time.

I'll admit that as an American, I haven't followed Brexit or know nearly enough about it to try and speak intelligently about the topic in this post, so I'll defer to someone else. Is this going to be a project that American audiences will find interesting?
