Best Trailer Yet For SUCCESSION Season 4 - "It's Like if Santa Claus was a Hitman"
HBO has a full trailer for the fourth and final season of Succession and this is the best one yet, as it offers a clearer view of what’s in store for the story and characters. Things are definitely more heated in the Roy family saga and there’s a lot of tension.
One thing is for sure, Logan (Brian Cox) does not think his kids, Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Roman (Kieran Culkin), have what it takes to run his business. He also continues to play them as they come together to attempt to reclaim their power in the company.
In Season 4, “the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
The series comes from Jesse Armstrong and the cast also includes Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, and Jeannie Berlin.
The series is executive produced by Armstrong, Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy and Will Ferrell. Armstrong also serves as showrunner.
Succession Season 4 is set to premiere in Spring 2023.
