Bette Midler to Star Opposite Jonah Hill and Kristen Wiig in Warner Bros. Comedy CUT OFF

Two-time Oscar nominee Bette Midler (Beaches, Hocus Pocus) has signed on to star alongside Jonah Hill (Superbad, Moneyball) and Kristen Wiig (SNL, Bridesmaids) in Cut Off, the new comedy that Jonah Hill co-wrote and will direct for Warner Bros. Pictures.

In the film, following rich siblings (Hill & Wiig) who are cut off from their parents, Midler will play the family matriarch. Written by Ezra Woods and Hill, the film will shoot this fall with Strong Baby’s Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin producing alongside Hill. Jesse Ehrman and Zach Hamby are overseeing for the studio, which has slated the film for release in theaters worldwide on July 17, 2026.

Most recently, Midler has been seen in the sequel to her classic Disney film Hocus Pocus, which broke streaming records for Disney+, as well as films like Sitting in Bars with Cake and The Fabulous Four.
