BETTER CALL SAUL Season 6 Could Premiere in 2021 and Will Have 13-Episodes
Better Call Saul is almost caught up with the events in Breaking Bad, and the pieces will all finally come together in the upcoming sixth and final season of the series. This last season was incredible and while it’s sad that we only have one season left, we all knew that was coming.
The show's co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould recently teased what to expect from the final season with Rolling Stone and they reveal that the episode count of the final season will be bigger than the other seasons:
“We have these 13 episodes, and that’s it, There’s no ‘eventually’ anymore.”
Every other season of the series has had a 10-episode count, but the creative team obviously felt that they needed three extra episodes to properly tell the full story that they set out to tell. Gould goes on to share what we can expect from the characters in the upcoming season, specifically Kim:
“In a lot of ways, Kim is the soul in question here. We know, for better or worse, who Saul Goodman seemed to be on Breaking Bad. But what happens to Kim Wexler? Where is she headed? There’s a lot of possibilities, and a lot of not-so-great possibilities.”
As for when we can expect to see Season 6 premiere, Gilligan hopes the final season will air in fall 2021. I can’t wait to see how this story comes to a close.
