BETTER CALL SAUL Won't Return With New Episodes Until 2020

Better Call Saul is an incredibly well-made series that tells an intriguing story of a man who is descending into the criminal world as a lawyer. That man is Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and this series shows us his transformative journey into crime lawyer, Saul Goodman. This is easily one of my favorite shows on TV, but unfortunately is looks like fans, like myself, are going to have to wait awhile for the show to return. So, it’s time to work on those patience skills.

According to Vulture, AMC has announced that Better Call Saul won’t be returning until 2020! In an interview with president of the entertainment networks group at AMC Networks Sarah Barnett, the former head of BBC America revealed that they wanted to give the writer’s room more time to develop the next season. They want to make sure they bring top-notch quality to the show instead of pushing it out faster and I’m totally ok with that!

Barnett says, “It’s driven by talent needs, which we would not override if it would result in a worse show.”

I kind of wish a lot of shows would do that. It’s pretty cool that AMC gives them the creative talent they need to deliver top quality entertainment. We may not get it as soon as we’d like, but when it does finally get released, it going to be great!

Barnett also admitted that the time is fast approaching in which the series would come to an end, so I guess we better prepare ourselves for that.
