Betty Gilpin Will Play a Nun Who Battles and Powerful A.I. in Damon Lindelof's MRS. DAVIS Series

Betty Gilpin (The Hunt) is set to take on the lead role in Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez’s upcoming Peacock drama series Mrs. Davis.

Gilpin has offered up some fun performances and I especially enjoyed her in The Hunt, which Lindelof co-wrote and produced. This next project sounds like a great one for her as she will be playing a nun who “goes to battle against an all-powerful A.I.”

It’s also explained that the story will be an exploration of faith vs. technology. Other than that, we don’t have any other plot details to share. What we do know, though, is interesting enough to hook me and get me to watch it!

Owen Harris (Black Mirror: San Junipero, Brave New World) will executive produce and direct multiple episodes of the series, including the first episode.

Gilpin has also appeared in shows such as Glow, Nurse Jackie, and Masters of Sex, as well as films like The Tomorrow War. She will appear in the Starz Watergate scandal drama Gaslit opposite Sean Penn and Julia Roberts as well as Roar at Apple and Three Women at Showtime.
