Big GEARS 5 Details Supposedly Leaked
Gears 5 is supposedly getting ready to release sometime this year, but details are scarce. However, fans may have gotten a healthy dose of details from a leak. A document that appears to be an official one from Microsoft for retail stores has been put online.
The document teases the biggest world for a Gears of War game yet, and with an emphasis on the game’s world Sera, fans are thinking the game will be much more open world than previous entries.
The document also boasts that the game will run at 4K and 60 FPS with HDR support. Fans will also be able to play co-op via online or local split screen with cross-play with PC being supported. Here’s a description of the story from the leak:
“The world is crumbling. Humanity’s reliance on technology has become their downfall and enemies are uniting to wipe out all survivors. As Kait you must journey across the biggest most beautiful Gears world to uncover the origins of the Locust, and fight with your squad to protect what’s left.”
