Big Mouth to End After Season 8 & Spinoff Ends After Season 2

Season 7 of Big Mouth is getting ready to premiere sometime this year on Netflix. The giant streaming service has announced though that the adult animated comedy series will be receiving an eighth season. This eighth season will be the show’s final season, so I hope you’re prepared for the end in 2024.

Big Mouth is about the glorious nightmare that is puberty. It follows a group of friends and their hormone monsters as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality and coming of age.

Talking about Big Mouth getting an eighth season, series creator Nick Kroll shared:

If you would have told adolescent Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg that middle school would take eight years to finish, they would have been like, ‘Yeah, that sounds about right. This seems like it will never end.’

In addition, Netflix announced that the Big Mouth spinoff Human Resources will end with its second season which is set to release in the coming months. The final chapters of Human Resources will see characters and stories flow into the new episodes of Big Mouth, so hopefully everything gets wrapped up neatly.
