Bill Burr and Skydance Sports Are Developing the Film BORN LOSERS

Bill Burr is set to write, direct, and produce a new sports movie titled Born Losers with Skydance Sports producing the project.

There are no story details to share for the film as it’s still in the early stages of development. Burr is writing the script with producer Ben Tishler. It’s also the first project being developed under Burr’s newly formed North Hill production company.

Burr recently hosted SNL, and he is also set to make his Broadway debut alongside Kieran Culkin and Bob Odenkirk in Glengarry Glen Ross in 2025. The comedian will also release his eighth hourlong stand-up special on Hulu in March.

Skydance Sports was launched in 2021 and it has become a preeminent studio for leagues, teams, athletes and A-list Hollywood talent seeking to produce premium, sports-related entertainment.

Its first two projects include the Emmy nominated docuseries Good Rivals and the Golden Globe-nominated Air, both streaming on Prime Video.
