Bill Murray and Kristen Wiig Set to Star in Odd Couple Comedy EPIPHANY From the Writer of SCROOGED

Bill Murray (Ghostbusters) and Kristen Wiig (Ghostbusters) are set to co-star in an odd couple comedy titled Epiphany.

Epiphany follows Favorite Ives (Wiig), “an heiress and fashionista whose fortune evaporates overnight, as she embarks on a two-week search for a rich husband in a bid to fight creditors and keep a roof over her head.

“She meets eccentric math savant billionaire Oz Bell (Murray), who needs Ives’ spirit and spontaneity as much as she needs his money.”

The film comes from Palm Springs helmer Max Barbakow and a script written by Scrooged writer Mitch Glazer. It seems like a project that Murray and Wiig could have some real fun with.

Wiig and Murray will serve as executive producers alongside Jillian Apfelbaum (The Mule) and Margot Hand (Passing).

Wiig is currently shooting the second season of Palm Royale for Apple TV+. As for Murray, he is coming off The Friend. He also appears in Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme, which is in post-production.
