A new trailer has been released ahead of the Cannes Film Festival premiere of the documentary New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization starring Bill Murray, as well as world-renowned cellist Jan Vogler, Mira Wang on violin, and Vanessa Perez on piano. The evening filmed took place at the 2,000 year-old stage of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus among an Athenian audience, and it was directed by Andrew Muscato.

Here’s the doc’s synopsis:

“The international quartet enchants the Athenian audience from the 2,000 year-old stage of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus with musical reflections on love, hope and heartbreak. Spanning from Bach to Van Morrison, Whitman to West Side Story, the wildly entertaining, humorous and deeply touching program is infused with the one-of-a-kind charm of Bill Murray.”

This looks so charming. I love the music that’s included, and I (like everyone else in the world) just adore Bill Murray, so I can’t wait to watch this. Check out the trailer and poster below, and keep an eye out for the film’s release date.
