Bill Murray is Set To Team Back Up With Sofia Coppola For a New Film Called ON THE ROCKS

Billy Murray and Sofia Coppola have done some great work together on films such as 2003’s Lost in Translation and 2015 Netflix holiday special A Very Murray Christmas.

They are now teaming up for a new film project for Apple and A24 called On The Rocks which follows “a young mother who reconnects with her larger than life playboy father on an adventure through New York. “

Murray joins Rashida Jones in the film, who I assume is playing the young mother. Murray will appropriately play her larger than life playboy father.

I happy to see these two talents working together again. I’m sure that they’ll end up giving us another great movie to enjoy. Production starts this spring in New York.
