BILL NYE SAVES THE WORLD Gets A Season 2

Love it or hate it, Bill Nye will return to Netflix with Season 2 of Bill Nye Saves The World. The series, which has been lambasted with accusations of political bias over science, awkward collaborations, and a general "fellow kids," vibe that didn't quite hit the mark, appears to embrace the hate in the announcement for Season 2.

While I can't say I disagree with the sentiment, I think Season 2 of the series will need much more research and effort to bring home some of the valid political arguments Nye was trying to make. The show needs to find the balance between entertainment and education and in general just try harder as opposed to snatching that low hanging fruit I felt they were grabbing at in Season 1.
