Billy Crystal is Set To Star in The Apple TV+ Series BEFORE
Billy Crystal is set to star in a limited series being developed for Apple TV+ titled Before. Crystal will play Eli in the series, “a child psychiatrist who recently lost his wife when he encounters a troubled young boy.”
The series was created by writer Sarah Thorp (The Bounty Hunter, Hawthorne), who is also an executive producer. Barry Levinson (The Natural, Rain Man, Good Morning Vietnam) will direct and executive produce, with Eric Roth (Dune, A Star Is Born) also executive producing.
I’m so happy to see Crystal land another big acting gig. He’s one of my all-time favorite actors and this project will mark his return to TV after appearing in shows such as Soap in the 70s, The Comedians in 2015, and the animated series Monsters at Work.
