Bingie Looks to Be a TV and Film Dedicated Social Media Platform

Bingie looks to be an interesting app. It’s essentially social media for you and your friends and family dedicated solely to talking about movies and TV shows. The idea is that as you watch shows and films you want to discuss it with friends and family without messy things like politics getting in the way.

Bingie would give you a way to do that as well as provide recommendations to each other. Once recommended, a show automatically gets added to your watchlist so you don’t forget about that show your friend told you about six months that sounded funny and now you can’t remember anything about it. You can also create chats dedicated to a specific title for you and friends to stay on topic and share your theories and thoughts.

Bingie is currently available for free on iOS (ads are coming in the future to provide revenue) with web and Android versions planned for the future. I can see some value for Bingie, but we’ll see if it sticks. What do you think of this new app?
