Black Adam Isn't Taking S**t From Anyone in New BLACK ADAM TV Spot and Poster
Warner Bros. has released a new TV spot for DC’s Black Adam, titled “Darkness,” and in it, Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam isn’t taking any shit from anyone! He’s confronted by Aldis Hodge‘s Hawkman, who punches the hell out of Black Adam and attempts to negotiate his peaceful surrender, but Black Adam isn’t interested and has no fear of fighting if that’s what it comes to.
There’s a lot of energy packed into this new TV spot, and it also features a good amount of cool new footage! I’ve heard some exciting and surprising things about this movie, and I’m actually pretty pumped up about watching it! I’m excited to see the things that I’ve been told play out on the big screen!
I also included a new poster that is based on the popular cover art of DC’s 52 #45, which was created by artist J.G. Jones. It features Black Adam seated on a throne.
In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend. Now released, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.
The movie also stars Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise) is directing Black Adam, from the most recent script, written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Adam Sztykiel wrote the previous draft.
Black Adam smashes into theaters and IMAX internationally beginning October 19th, 2022, and in North America on October 21st, 2022.
