BLACK JEWEL REBORN Has a Kickstarter to Release on 4 Classic Gaming Systems
Indie studio PSCD Games recently launched a Kickstarter for their new cooperative fantasy hack and slash, Black Jewel Reborn. The game sees you playing as the Barbarian Ryan or the Amazon Julia as you go through the land trying to stop Darkor from using the Black Jewel to become the ruler of the kingdom.
Here’s the best part. Black Jewel Reborn is being launched in four different retro gaming versions. You can play it on GameBoy, NES, SNES, and SEGA Genesis/Master Drive! It should be noted the GameBoy version does not offer coop, but all three console versions do. Also, the SNES version will use the same graphics as the Genesis/MD. I think this looks like a fun game if you love retro gaming and sidescrolling hack and slash titles.
Darkor stole the Black Jewel from the ancient Temple of Power. He's going to use it to overwhelm all the people of the kingdom and become its sole ruler. Ryan and Julia are the strongest warriors, the only ones that courageously decided to oppose the dark plans of the enemy. The mighty swordsman warrior and the invincible Amazon with the whip are already on the trail of Darkor, ready to eradicate his army of monstrous creatures and bring the Black Jewel back to the temple.
