BLACK MIRROR Season 6 Teaser Trailer with Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Josh Hartnett, Zazie Beetz, and More
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Black Mirror Season 6 which reveals the first footage, the cast, and a June launch date. The cast for Season 6 includes Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Josh Hartnett, Michael Cera, and Salma Hayek Pinault. The teaser came with the following note:
“You’ve been wondering. You’ve been waiting. You’ve been warned. The sixth season of Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror is BACK. The most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected season yet is arriving in June.”
This next season of the series looks like it’s going to tell some wild darkly satirical stories, which is mostly set in near-future dystopias. Series creator Charlie Brooker says he has “stretched the parameters of what a Black Mirror show even is” for the latest season. Speaking to Tudum.com, Brooker said he had started writing Season 6 by “upending some of my own core assumptions about what to expect.”
He added: “Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar Black Mirror tropes we’ve also got a few new elements, including some I’ve previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode’ even is. The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through-and-through – but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before.”
The series also stars Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Samuel Blenkin and Zazie Beetz.
Brooker went on to add the “incredible roster of disgustingly skilful, smart directors working with a cast of actors so talented they frankly have no right to exist.”
