BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER "Return to Wakanda" Featurette Pays Tribute to Chadwick Boseman

Marvel has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the big highly-anticipated film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It’s titled “Return To Wakanda,” and it features the cast and crew discussing the film and how it honors the late Chadwick Boseman. They pay tribute to Boseman and discuss his influence on the franchise.

Angela Bassett says: "Audiences have embraced Wakanda and Black Panther. And Chadwick, he knew exactly what this story, what these images meant to the world.” Winston Duke added: "We all suffered an incredible loss when we lost Chadwick."

Director Ryan Coggler added: "Chad was very much our artistic partner. I would spend time with him, just he and I, talking about where we would want to see the story go, how much he admired the other characters and the actors that portrayed them."

The featurette also offers some insight on Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, and we have a new image of him to share with you below. I’ve been looking forward to seeing this character introduced in the MCU, and it looks like the film has some fun with him, especially with those ankle wings!

The film will see Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa killed within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and someone else take on the mantle of Black Panther.

The movie also stars Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, and Martin Freeman. The movie is set to be released on November 11th, 2022.
