BLACK WIDOW Movie Poster Art Shows Black Widow Fighting Taskmaster

A piece of poster art for Marvel’s upcoming Black Widow movie was shared by artist Andy Park during Comic-Con this weekend. It offers us our first look at the badass hero fighting the main villain of the film, Taskmaster.

MarvelfFans got a chance to see some of the first footage from this movie during the Hall H panel, and they were blown away by the brutal fight sequence that was shared! We saw a great fight sequence between Florence Pugh‘s Yelena and Scarlett Johansson‘s Natasha Romanoff, and we also got to see a brief scene of Black Widow fighting Taskmaster.

Taskmaster looks pretty awesome in the film, and he’s going to make a great villain! For those of you who don’t know, Taskmaster has the unique ability of photographic reflexes. This means that he can watch how someone fights and then perfectly mimic it, making him the ultimate match. He’s going to be a very fun villain!

The story for the film is set in Budapest, and these two actresses will be joined by O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Mason, David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy) as Alexei, aka The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz (The Favourite) as Melina. The actor playing Taskmaster has not been revealed yet. That’s going to be a big surprise.

Directed by Cate Shortland (Lore) from a script by Jac Schaeffer (The Hustle), Black Widow will be released in theaters on May 1st, 2020.
