BLADE RUNNER 2049 Will Not Feature Any Narration

Just in case anyone was worried about it, there will not be narration in Blade Runner 2049. Director Denis Villeneuve shared the great news with Collider, who captured the quote below:

"That’s a joke I made with Harrison Ford when he came to do his ADR: I gave him a narration. No, there’s no narration. It’s not something that would have been welcome and the movie doesn’t need one. It was not a part of the project, no, but we were making jokes about that. It would’ve been a strange thing to see the fans’ face if the movie had started with a narration, a voiceover."

Of course, the original film's narration was so bad that it was removed from later versions of the film which transformed the film into an iconic piece of cinema. Will the sequel have the same critical acclaim? We'll have to wait and see as it opens October 6th.
